What is the PTA?

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is the largest volunteer association in the world devoted solely to the

the basic concern of the PTA has always been to create a better life for every child - whatever his/her race, religion or economic status. In the process the PTA has united parents, teachers, students and other citizens of the community in the effort to realize this goal.

The benefits are many including class trips, assemblies and other events that take place all year long for the students of Washington School.

$10.00 membership (which supports programs and activities for YOUR children).

The Washington School PTA needs YOU as a member!

 

It is up to the parents to support the Washington School PTA and its programs! All we ask is $10.00 from each member, spouses too. All "Class Parents" need to be PTA members, as do parents who chaperone PTA sponsored class trips or events. Also, keep in mind, in order to be a voting member you must be a member of the PTA.

 

Please complete this form (click link above) and send it to school with your payment of $10.00 per adult member. Please make check payable to : Washington School PTA (Cash is acceptable also).

 

Stop by the PTA membership table at Back to School Night on September 13th for more information and join us for our first meeting on October 2nd at 7:00 pm.
